PALE WRITER: PHIL FROST

Last night we attended Phil Frost's "Pale Writer" exhibit on Fairfax at the SeventhLetter/KnownGallery. Frost, a New York Native, is known to use symmetrical layering of collages in his work with mostly black and white coloring on canvas/paper and his installations. Though this exhibit didn't include not one installation, I've observed plenty of his work in color with his signature curvy shaped, tiki man, Polynesian styles. Some of you might recognize his work with the likes of Undefeated's billboard project, Nike, RVCA, and The Beautiful Losers.







Posted outside with Rick (Us vs Them) Mega (BlackScale) and Uneek (Villany Product). Mega always brings up the San Francisco days when we used to live up there, especially Uneek being known to skate the steepest hills around town. Livingworth to Sutter to (HUF) all day. It was one of my petpeevs having a fresh pair of kicks with burnt soles, with holes from skating those SF hills.
