Growing up as kids we collected comic books, skateboarded, bmx'ed, stole ice cream & candy from the local Thrifty before they became RiteAid, and gathered all the kids in the block and had paintball wars in my neighbor's back yard. But we were also in to Djing, well "Turntablizm" to be exact. One of our most influences in the "scratching" game besides, Invisible Skratch Piklz, Beat Junkies, Allies, etc. was the X Ecutioners. Unfortunately they have broke their trio of Total Eclipse, Rob Swift, and last but not least Roc Raida who has passed away earlier this week.

For those who would know "B-Boy Document" from the Rawkus albums in 1999.

You may or may not be familiar with these Tablist magazines because they were rare in the early 2000's, this was the era of the "Battle Dj" when going to DMC, ITF, Sam Ash, & GuitarCenter DJ battles were way more popular than they are now.

RIP GRANDMASTER ROC RAIDA and thank you for excelling the scratch game...
