We been at our store front for about a month and a half and haven't even open our doors to it yet. The reason for that s because we are in heavy construction to make it a VP and we'll designed as possible. Here is a little peek of our layout and a sense of how the interior material is going to look like. Note: this photo was taken 2 weeks prior from now and today Im standing right in it. It feels like I'm standing in the presidents secret basement in the colonial 1920's. Oh yeah, it is Old Town. #Crowncity

Over the weekend we caught the homies Product of our Environment (Jab and Jayleon) doing a show in Old Town Pasadena, CA. Over the weekend we finally had the chance to check out the "Art in the Streets" exhibit at the Geffen MOCA in Los Angeles. The installations were the most awesome. Some of my favorites were Neck Face, Berry Mcgee, MSK/AWR, Retna, Mr. Cartoon, Margret Kilgallen, and of course Banksy.

Twitch and I headed over to Artesia, CA to meet up with some friends at a the Foney Head Quarters. I bumped in to the homie Jeff from (RIF) and Kaye, congrats on the baby. Ghram from Us VS. Them which was showing some of his art work along with Glory. And last but not least DJ TrulyOdd. I give this man major respect. In the 90's when the Dj Battle scene was around, "underground hip hop" was really underground, and The BeatJunkies crew took over almost all known mixtapes like SoundBombing or Rhettmatic's Vol.1, Power106 and 92.3 The Beat radio waves were taking over with the Pharcyde, Hyro, EastFlatbush, Dilated, Defari, etc. This DJ came from that era when you needed that vinyl or that mix tape (a real tape). We headed over to the Infinite Jest studios to join them on their private premier of "Black Swan". Oh and yes it was a legitimate boot leg. No signs of people walking around in the audience in the film, no signs of a pirate filmer hiding the camera from the theater workers, or no signs of the filmer eating popcorn, sippin on a icee with a bag of sour patch kids. it was legit.

I gotta say, besides chillin with Lupe Fiasco and bumpin into BenBaller, the toys were sick. Maybe they can donate some of their toys(cars) to the VP HQ.
